Amber Rothwell Takes the Plunge for Pictons and Age Concern Luton

Legal assistant Amber Rothwell, who works in the Conveyancing department at Pictons, is taking the plunge on Saturday April 25th by taking part in the ‘In The Swim’ fundraising challenge which has been launched by Age Concern Luton.

‘In The Swim’ will take place at the Inspire Luton swimming pool at 5.30pm on Saturday. Amber says “I’m raising money for Age Concern because I think it’s an amazing charity and I really wanted to do this challenge. I absolutely love swimming and I have from a very young age. I have been in training and swimming at Inspire Luton for the past four weeks to try and prepare myself as I have to swim as many lengths as I can in an hour.”

Age Concern Luton is a much admired local charity which has been helping older people improve their overall quality of life, receive timely practical help, get out and about and retain dignity in later life for nearly 20 years.
The charity believes that retirement should be a positive experience and that Luton can become a great place in which to grow older. To help make this happen they are proactive in campaigning and shaping local policy, reactive to local strategic plans, and committed to raising money to fund services that older people have said are important to them.

Sukh Saini, Managing Partner at Pictons says “As a company we are very committed to supporting local charities and the local community and our staff are great at participating in fund raising for good causes. We are so proud of Amber and we are sure she will swim her heart out on Saturday for such a great cause as Age Concern Luton.”
