Pictons Expands With Ten New Members of Staff

Pictons, is rapidly expanding with the addition of ten new members of staff to service the firm’s growing success.

Tony Roberts recently joined as Head of the Corporate dept from top city lawyers Herbert Smith Freehills. Julian Ireland is a Commercial Litigator whose most recent firm was EMW Law.

Danielle Messenger,who formerly worked at Matthew Arnold Baldwin in Watford is now an Associate Solicitor in the Family dept at the Hemel Hempstead office and family lawyer Amy Chesterfield is due to join the Milton Keynes office in April as an Associate Solicitor.

The property boom has meant significant expansion in the conveyancing dept, with solicitor Beverly Obrart joining the company’s Hemel Hempstead office; conveyancer Mary Johnson is now based in Tring; Marie Bevan a Chartered Legal Executive who specialises in ‘new builds’ is based in the Milton Keynes office with Ruth Drew, a new Legal Assistant in the conveyancing dept.

The Pictons support team has also expanded with two new paralegals, Supriya Kumar and Jermaine Malcolm. While studying for a legal career with the support of The Prince’s Trust, Jermaine secured a work placement position at Pictons. The team at the company’s Hemel Hempstead office was so impressed by him that he is now an employee.
